(I got all 8 gym badges on pokemon diamond, the lendradary pokemon and I play as a guy casue the girls pathetic.

Must defeat the elite four! I get to the fourth one and always lose T^T

I would say that making more gyms will be a good idea. Having more gyms gives a good chance for everyone to challenge ;D, even if the other gym leaders are not ready or busy at the moment. Even though gaining access to the Elite 4 requires 8 gym badges to be obtained, they can collect the badges that they need to challenge the Elite 4 from the gym leaders that can currently accept the challenges. They can collect the other gym badges if they want to, maybe for preparation for the Elite 4 or just to collect.

I think more gyms would work! Since all you need is 8 badges anyway, it's kinda like with the Pokeverse in that you only need 8 to face the Elite no matter the region. So yes, I think it would work. ^^
